Successful bloggers, marketers and most of the people on social media love to write in this tone. So why not keep everything in a tone that will easily connect with others.
Here are a few reasons why you want to write in the conversational tone.
- The conversational tone is easier to write. It’s more natural and should allow you to save time instead of thinking if something is written correctly.
- The conversational tone will help your audience connect with random visitors. This will allow you to connect better with others instead of looking like a complete stranger with an unknown blog.
- The conversational tone is natural. This way people will want to interact with you and don’t think you are a robot.

If your content is too dense, your audience will likely go to a competing blog filled with bullet points and funny gifs.

- You can try grouping your topics into small subtopics. These thoughts will be quick to the point and related to your main topic. This will create a paragraph that is easier to read. Most of your audience may be great readers but even great readers appreciate simplicity.
- You should avoid using big words without justification. Depending on your blog niche, of course, you want to keep the vocabulary around a six-grade level.
- You want to use bullet points or numbered lists. If something is really important, try using bullet points or numbered lists in your content.
Another reminder to keep things short and simple. You can still say a lot by grouping your thoughts together. And using an extra line break here and there.
You need to care about your blog niche!
Let others know that you actually know and care about your blog niche.
You need to do proper research and have a strong passion for whatever you’re writing about to succeed. There are exceptions to this rule, especially if you have money to spend. However, for most bloggers, you need to have a passion for the blog niche before you have any success.
